Modern Warfare 2's single player was much better in my opinion. It felt like a very well made, well thought out and very polished single player experience. The plot itself was a little far fetched, but how they presented it is where MW2 should get praised. BFBC2 however felt like it was slapped together. It does have a single player campaign. I'm only talking about the Vietnam expansion, not the original Battlefield 2, which I know has got a single player campaign. Are you 100% sure that even Vietnam expansion can be played solo? Sorry mate - got that wrong - no, not Vietnam sadly. The single-player campaign in a Battlefield title would ideally focus on what the game does differently from its main competitor, but DICE seemed content to simply steal everything it could from Switch from the single-player campaign to the online multiplayer mode, and Bad Company 2 is the first console battlefield to deliver the kind of experience that made the series’ name on the PC. Battlefield 2042 has forgone a traditional single-player campaign in favor of a focus on online multiplayer. You can set up matches with AI-controlled bots , but there won’t be a solo campaign
The single player is kinda meh but I still find it enjoyable enough, the first mission is really amazing though. The humor and dialogue of your squad members in single player alone make the campaign worth a shot. The first one was awesome as well, I've put over 1,000 hours into just the Bad Company series alone.
BC144601 15 years ago #9. Single player is great, I'm on the fourth mission and it's fun so far, a lot of different weapons are offered to you, that is if your looking for them. For instance I'm on the fourth mission and I found four different kinds of sniper rifles so far. The single player is solid.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is arguably one of the two best shooters. In the single player campaign you command a soldier that is a member of an elite squad that is usually sent behind enemy lines to complete top-secret missions.
