Not sure of the difference in the looks, but eitherway would go for a facelift model as they also have some suspension and brake revisions, so a tiny bit better than the preface list EK9. pretty sure brakes and suspension are the same, it was the dc2 that got upgraded on the 98 spec/"facelift".
