Open the Settings app. Go into Network & internet. Select your primary SIM in SIMs. Tap on Preferred network type. Pick LTE (or 5G, which also activates 4G). Note: We used a Google Pixel 7 running Review the prompt, then select INSTALL. Note: Your watch will restart. From the clock screen press the Power/Home button then rotate the bezel to and select the Settings icon. Rotate the bezel to and select Connections, then rotate the bezel to and select AT&T NumberSync. Select Get started, then select the Checkmark icon.
LTE/4G are an option on certain models. The watch is primarily connected to data from your phone via LowEnergyBluetooth. If you setup the watch with a mobile plan (wearables voice line) and enable it at first setup, the LTE option on the watch is set to Auto - which means when not connected to Bluetooth (ie out of range) your watch will automatically switch to LTE/4G.
5 years ago. The reason is there is no way to connect your smart watch to a phone to make it work as designed. It can connect as a Bluetooth device only. For this reason AT&T does not allow or even have means to activate smart watches on prepaid. In order to work with your phone via cellular, the phone line has to be set up with Number Sync.
Go to your account overview and open the My wireless section. Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose a device to sign up. Select Manage my device. Choose Manage NumberSync. Then you can follow the instruction on how to set up NumberSync for your Galaxy Watch4 Classic.
Set up NumberSync from the Galaxy Wear app. Open the Galaxy Wear app on your smartphone. Tap Sync Watch. Check your watch for a Sync Code.
